Product Overview

PEEKFRTP CF-UD is a high-end, high-performance thermoplastic composite material. It uses T700-12K and T800-12K unidirectional carbon fibers as reinforcement materials and semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer PEEK as prepreg resin, and is formed by high-temperature hot pressing.

It possesses excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, high toughness, high damage resistance, fatigue resistance, resistance to damp heat, corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility, and can be used at temperatures up to 280°C for extended periods. It is widely used in aerospace, medical devices, petrochemical, and automotive industries.

Product dimensions (customizable)

  • Prepreg: Standard widths are 300mm and 600mm, narrow widths are 6.35mm, 12.7mm and 25.4mm, and other widths can be customized.
  • Laminates: Standard sizes are 440×292mm and 500×380mm, with thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 40mm. Other sizes can be customized. Lamination angles of 0°, 90°, ±45°, etc. can be customized.
  • Bar stock: Standard lengths are 440mm and 500mm, and diameters can be customized.

Typical Applications

Aerospace

Products include connecting brackets, fuselage panels, fuselage frame beams and ribs, window frames, etc. These products are used to replace aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and other metal materials, as well as traditional thermosetting composite materials.
