2. Horizontal injection molding machine.jpg

Equipment Overview
Horizontal injection molding machine: This is the most common type. Its mold closing and injection sections are on the same horizontal line, and the mold opens horizontally. Its advantages include: a low machine body, easy operation and maintenance; a low profile, making installation more stable; and the ability for the ejected product to fall automatically under gravity, facilitating fully automatic operation. Its disadvantages include: more complicated mold installation; the possibility of the mold tilting or falling if inserts are not properly installed; and a larger machine footprint. Currently, most injection molding machines on the market use this type.

Features of horizontal injection molding machines: 1. As a large machine, its low profile eliminates height restrictions for factory installation. 2. In applications where products can fall automatically, automated molding can be achieved without the need for robotic arms. 3. Due to its low profile, material feeding is convenient and maintenance is easy. 4. Molds require crane installation. 5. When multiple machines are arranged side-by-side, molded products are easily collected and packaged via conveyor belt.
