Today, the SAMPE China 2026 Annual Conference officially kicked off at the China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall) in Beijing. As a highly influential industry event in the Asian composites field, this exhibition brings together global leading enterprises, research institutes, industry experts, and upstream and downstream practitioners, focusing on cutting-edge directions such as advanced materials, innovative manufacturing, and engineering applications, building an international platform for technical exchange, product display, and industry collaboration. The three-day industry feast has begun.
On the first day of the exhibition, Jiangsu Junhua HPP Special Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. together with its subsidiary JHFRTP Composites appeared at booth 1B-B1-310-4, attracting high popularity with multiple core PEEK thermoplastic composite products. The on-site display fully showcased Junhua HPP’s full-chain intelligent manufacturing capabilities covering resin polymerization, prepreg preparation, and final parts, as well as the advantages of the entire industry chain for CF/PEEK, CF/PEKK, and CF/PPS thermoplastic composites. A one-stop industry turnkey solution was also launched, attracting professional customers from aerospace, medical devices, hydrogen energy, marine engineering, and other fields to stop by and negotiate, with a continuous flow of visitors at the booth.
This time, JHFRTP highlighted four major categories of core products, covering the full chain from key raw materials to final parts:

Continuous Carbon Fiber CF/PEEK Pultruded Rods
High-end medical implant-grade application, perfect combination of biocompatibility and mechanical properties.
➡Specifications: φ2-φ8mm fine rods | Continuous pultrusion
➡Core applications: High-end medical implant field (e.g., orthopedics, trauma systems, etc.), CF/PEEK composite material has elastic modulus closer to human bone and no artifact interference

Based on the above product series, one of JHFRTP’s core innovations won high industry recognition. Relying on profound technical R&D background and hardcore product innovation, during the concurrent authoritative industry evaluation at this exhibition, after multiple rounds of strict review by dozens of domestic and international experts, Junhua HPP’s “Medical Radiopaque Continuous Carbon Fiber Reinforced PEEK Spinal Fixation System” project stood out and successfully won a significant industry award, once again confirming Junhua HPP’s leading technical position in the medical polymer composite field.
The core technical breakthroughs of this award-winning project are reflected in four aspects:
01 Domestic innovative co-extrusion radiopaque technology
Successfully solved the inherent industry contradiction of CF/PEEK material’s natural transparency and clinical inability to achieve radiopacity, achieving CT/MRI artifact reduction of over 80%, filling the domestic technical gap in radiopaque CF/PEEK spinal fixation products.
02 Carbon fiber reinforcement for superior mechanical performance
The prepreg’s 0° tensile strength ≥2200MPa, pultruded rod bending strength ≥950MPa. Compared to traditional titanium alloy medical implants, fatigue life is improved by 30%-50%, significantly upgrading medical structural stability.
03 Breakthrough pultrusion composite forming process
Overcame the precision forming industrialization challenge, product dimensional accuracy controllable within ±0.05mm, while production energy consumption reduced by 35% and production efficiency increased by 50%, truly achieving high-precision, high-efficiency, low-cost mass production.
04 Complete compliance qualification, seamless clinical implementation
The product has fully passed ISO10993 biocompatibility tests; in 2024, obtained the first domestic NMPA registration certificate for Class III implantable medical devices. By the end of 2025, Junhua HPP has accumulated 11 domestic Class III medical device registration certificates, and completed dual filing with the National Medical Products Administration and FDA master file, providing complete qualification support for domestic and international commercialization.

Based on the above technical breakthroughs and industrialization capabilities, the evaluation committee unanimously concluded: This project deeply integrates continuous carbon fiber reinforced PEEK composite technology, exclusive radiopaque technology, and clinical orthopedic needs. The product’s overall performance reaches international advanced and domestic leading levels, successfully breaking the long-term monopoly pattern of overseas high-end medical composite implants, possessing extremely high clinical application value and broad industrialization prospects.
To facilitate online viewing and in-depth understanding of cutting-edge technologies and core advantages of the award-winning product for industry colleagues unable to attend in person, we will host a dedicated online live stream tomorrow. At that time, JHFRTP’s senior technical experts will take everyone on a virtual tour of the booth, comprehensively deconstructing the technical core of the award-winning product and revealing the core logic of how PEEK thermoplastic composites empower high-end manufacturing transformation.
